Happy Monday lovelies!

This morning I woke up fully rested and shall I say, that has not happened in a LONG time. I finally feel like I'm not tired and that's saying a lot. Lol. This past Sunday I got the pleasure of attending the first Atlanta PeachFest and I had so much fun! The aim of the festival was to raise money for charity, celebrate and showcase Georgia's best farmers and spirits and show how to have good culinary fun in downtown Atlanta. The mayor, Kasim Reed, was there to kick off the event and share all of the exciting things they're doing to make the city better.

The event was on a cute street with so many vendors set up that you were bound to try and find something you would love. Thanks to Kwame for the awesome giveaway where I was able to win two VIP tickets to the event. My friend and I go to visit the VIP lounge to try different wines and treats as well as see all of the items that were set up for the silent auction. I'm not much of a drinker but I did enjoy the Rosé. We ventured outside to try all the different vendors set up and I must say my favorite treat was the peach infused ice-cream with raspberry & cherry syrup and amaretto cookies. It was so delicious that I contemplated going back for a second serving...(No shame! Lol). From pizza, to sliders and sparkling waters I found so many things I enjoyed and I'm glad to have taken a friend along to enjoy the festival. It made for a great Sunday!
