God's Timing!

Happy Friday lovelies!
Sorry for the lack of content on Wednesday, it's been a crazy couple of days! Work and health has taken precedence over everything else but I'm feeling a little better. Baby steps and small victories! Today I wanted to talk about something that has been heavy on my heart and I know a lot of you might be able to relate; I'm talking about being patient! If you really know me you know that I am not a patient person when it comes to a lot of things. I'm impatient when it comes to getting packages in the mail, waiting on food delivery but the biggest of all is being impatient with life. This is the one I struggle with the most!  I feel as though when I plan out my life there is a timeline of when I think everything is supposed to happen and if they do I'll be happy with life! WRONG!! I was that girl who thought I would graduate college at 22, be married by 25 and starting a family....boy was I wrong!

God has a funny way of changing our own plans to what he thinks is best for us. He's always reminding us that he's in control and if we wholeheartedly trust in him everything is going to be fine. Essentially we need to worry less and not let those things we feel me must be doing cause us stress. I know, I know...it's much easier said than done but it's the truth. The times where I pray and talk to God and let go of all the stress I have, that is when I finally see answers to prayers and am open and ready for the gifts God has for me. Sometimes when we hold on to that stress we ignore all the signs and answers God is giving us because we're too focused on how to fix this situation or how will this work out. We feel like God hasn't heard our prayers and cries for help....he has! He's waiting on you to give it all over to him and let him handle everything. How great is it that we don't have to go thru this crazy life alone??

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding."
- Proverbs 3:5

Whenever I've had any worries or doubts in life I go to God and say, "I can't do this on my own, I'm giving it all to you!" The peace I feel knowing I serve a mighty God who loves and cares about me is amazing. What I have learned the most is that God will never lead you in the wrong direction. Sometimes he answers other prayers we might have forgotten about and didn't know was still affecting our lives. I hope that you take this and let God worry for you and fix all the things you can't quite do on your own. Always know he is with you and loves you.
