Friday, August 11, 2017
Hi everyone! My name is Cait and I blog over at Cait’s Cozy Corner. I’m so excited to be guest posting on Chaneya’s blog! Her fashion style is always on point so I wanted to share some fun fashion items I’ve been keeping my eye on the last few weeks! I know, it’s only August but a fashionista has to keep up with those ladies around her and always a few steps ahead of the fashion trends! Am I right friends!

Okay so moving forward, there are so many great items to grab for fall so I’ve narrowed it down to my favorite fall pieces for you all to hopefully enjoy and gather your own inspiration from! Lets dive into some great fall fashion trends that I know you may just instantly fall in love over!

  1. Florals - This has been a huge staple this spring and summer and thankfully something you can continue to wear from the warmer months to the colder ones in the upcoming weeks. Looking at these fresh, springy bouquets can actually turn them into a big of a darker tone. Looking at brands like Tory Burch, Kate Spade and Coach, there are several designers out there are thinking of the color palette for the season. Fall is mostly your typical brownies, burgundies and burnt oranges but I’ve been seeing some gorgeous floral colors in deep purples, pinks and blues that I personally cannot wait to get my hands on and wear!

  1. Sheer Layering - Many of the woman I talked to that went to fashion week said this was all the rage on the runway! Sheer is a great way to add bolds of color to what could be a plain outfit underneath your sheer turtleneck. I personally love simple colors like this pale pink sheer shirt with a darker undergarment. Feel free to add some long necklaces or accessories to dress it up as well.

  1. Mules - I never used to like these shoes until I tried them on and oh my goodness, they are beyond comfortable. Mules are the hit shoe this season and the best part is you probably grabbed a pair and can wear it into the fall season! How gorgeous are these velvet mules! I love the grey to be paired right now with cute white pants and top but then taking it into fall you can mix deep colors like navy or red!

  1. Fringe- During the Nordstrom Anniversary sale so many people were sharing adorable items with fringe either on their shirt or the bottom of the pants! I loved it all! It just adds some great texture to your outfit!  This dress from the Michael Kors collection may seem a bit out of a few of yours ( and mine !) comfort zone but fear not as many stores have simple fringe to their shirts and pants.

  2. Leather Pants- I’ve always been a fan of leather pants ( anyone else seen Grease?! ) and just think it’s a great staple for fall because you can wear it with chunky, oversized sweaters for a casual look or dress it up with a tight black top and bold accessories if you want a going out outfit. I know they are intimidating to some of you out there but I promise they are all flattering!

  1. One Shoulder - I loved this trend when it was popular a few years ago! One shoulder shirts to me are a little edgy, sexy and daring! I love to pair mine with distressed jeans and heels or even a cute skirt! This one shoulder dress is perfect to throw on and adding some cute booties to complete the look.

Did any of these fall fashion ideas catch your eye? Why not create your own style and look this fall! Do you not have a sewing machine to help start up your ideas? You’ll have to take a look at Sewing Machine. They have an online market full of everything you need to bring your creations to life including brands like Brother. I even love that they teach classes to those that may not be so experienced in the sewing field so you’ll come out feeling confident and ready to start your own fall line. The sky's the limit fashionistas! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
