Happy Monday
I hope you've had a great productive Monday! I always try to start my weekdays on a good note by making sure I get in a great workout to kick off my week as well as eating super clean. This always puts me in the mindset and headspace to carry this through, throughout the entire week. I quickly wanted to talk about this dress. It's easily become my favorite maxi dress I own. I love the tassel detail as well as the cute straps; they add such a delicate detail to the entire look and I'm loving it. This is from one of my favorite Youtuber Alex Garza's online boutique, "Shop Good to Be." I had been eying this dress from different stores and it was constantly out of stock in my size (size M), so when this was released on her site I instantly snatched it up! It's sold out from her store but I've found another boutique that is carrying it as well!

I wanted to touch on something that I've been thinking a lot about the past couple of weeks.....comparison. It's so easy to get wrapped up in comparing ourselves to others regarding our careers, achievements, looks....the list goes on. I've caught myself scrolling through social media and looking at others like, "Wow, they have everything together. I wish my life could be like that" when in reality, I have no idea what's going on in that persons life behind that one image. Social media, especially Instagram, is a highlight reel; all the best moments captured in one image.

"Comparison is the thief of all joy."

We constantly compare ourselves to images in hopes that if we looked like this person, or had what this person has that our lives will magically be perfect and everything will be fine. Well that's definitely not the case. When we stop and comparing ourselves to others and truly look at who we are as people it makes us wonder,

"Where does my piece of the puzzle fit?"

All of these things come to mind and we're left wondering what makes us special and what do we bring to the table. We keeping thinking of what someone else is doing versus assessing what we want to change and how we can make our own lives better and reach our own goals. Maybe you're an amazing baker....maybe you're a great stylist....maybe you want to do more charity work but have constantly pushed it to the side. Stop comparing yourself and pursue those things you've always wanted to do. Yes, you might look up to someone who's already doing those things but thing that sets you apart from them is YOU! There's only one you and you have to share your gifts and talents with the world. Once we step out of our comfort zone and use the gifts God has given us we find where our little puzzle piece fits in this big crazy world and we find our purpose. There's no one size fits all when it comes to growth; your journey and your path will be different than someone else's and that makes it even more special.

I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone this week and use one of your talents for towards something you've always wanted to do!

XO
Chaneya
