One of my goals this year was to give back and volunteer; I can definitely say that this is something I've been slacking on so I've been kicking it into overdrive looking into different volunteer opportunities. I just had a possible volunteer opportunity fall into my lap Labor Day weekend and I'm definitely going to take advantage of that! If this is something that you've had on your heart to do I hope that this post at least gives you some ideas or places to start. These areas of opportunity if you live in the state of Georgia but it doesn't have to stop there. If you live in a different city or state, ask around, google volunteer opportunities in your area. There is always work to be done and even the smallest amount of help in appreciated! Volunteering doesn't mean only trying to feed the homeless, you can volunteer your time at a theatre, coaching a kids sports team....the opportunities are endless!
