So for my moms birthday I really wanted to take her out for lunch! She's not for eating out a lot but I thought this was definitely the day to do it. Where I live there aren't too many options so the only thing to do is visit surrounding cities to get more variety. In my college town a fairly new restaurant called the The Brown Dog Eatery in Carrollton, GA. I had eaten there before and knew she would really enjoy the food. The inside of the restaurant has a really cool ambiance and it's neat how they've kept a lot of the brick and wood exposed. The menu has lots of options so everyone is bound to find something they'll enjoy. I ordered the Brown Dog House burger with skillet mac & cheese and a side salad! Best combination ever! To top it off they have AMAZING beignets that really make you feel like you're in New Orleans in the French Quarter at Cafe Du Monde. If you're ever in the area or just looking for a new place to try out, definitely go to The Brown Dog in Carrollton. You won't be disappointed.
