HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
Whenever anyone hears you're in sorority you always get asked a million questions! I think the main one being, "Is it really only for 4 years?"....definitely not! Ending your time as an active sister doesn't mean you're no longer involved, it just means you take on a different role as an alum. You're obviously still a sister and still a member you just participate in sorority life in a new way. Although you do miss all the socials, date nights, formals and just hanging out with your sisters in the chapter room for a movie night, they're still your sister.

If you didn't know, I'm a Sigma Kappa! A great prime example of life as an alum was the Sigma Kappa Family Reunion event that was planned by the Vice President of Alumnae Relations. This was where all alum sisters got the chance to come back, meet new sisters that have joined and catch up with old friends. My little (little sister in the sorority) Reanna came into town for it and that was super exciting for me since I hadn't see her in a while. My friends like Molly, who you all are already getting to know, Andrea and Maddie were all in attendance and it was so good catching up with them. It's cool to see where everyone is at in life and just catch up and laugh.

This was a very laid back event so my attire was something super simple where I wouldn't be hot but could still look cute. I decided to pair a simple white t-shirt and tuck it into some high-waisted blue jean shorts. I threw on a necklace for some more color and some sandals. I will be doing a more in depth post about questions I've gotten about being in a sorority later, so stay tuned for that! If you wanna check out my chapters instagram, I'll have it linked below!

Happy Friday!
