Happy Monday!
It was a long week and weekend for me. I had school and what we the students called a MegaTour2K17...(Tour with Opera, Chamber Singers and the Wind Ensemble). We got the opportunity to travel to different schools and share things that we've worked on throughout the semester and talk to them about potentially attending our school. I think that's one of my favorite things about sharing all this music; getting the chance to show that anyone can do this with hard work, dedication and just putting in the time. Whenever a student comes up to you and tells you how much they enjoyed your singing and telling you about what kinds of songs they've sang is school is amazing.

At the end of our trip we ended in Savannah, GA and got the night off to walk around and explore. It was the best way to end the tour and just relax. This trip I got the chance to really get to know my colleagues more outside of school and can I say, they helped make this trip amazing. All the laughs and memories made on this trip I will keep with me and can always look back and get a good laugh...shout out to Astley's first time bowling and falling on the lane lol.

We all decided to head down to River Street to grab a bit to eat and take in everything Savannah had to offer. We ate at Spanky's Restaurant and the food was awesome! I'm pretty boring so I got a plain cheeseburger and substituted my fries for salad...gotta eat healthy right?! ;). The burger was phenomenal. It's not a night off if you don't order a cocktail am I right?!... I got my go to drink, an amaretto sour and it was great. After dinner we made a quick stop in the numerous candy shops along River Street. You can't go to Savannah and not get any chocolate. I picked up a few treats for my mom. If you've been to Savannah you know that in the evenings it comes alive with music everywhere. We listened to a street singer and just took in the atmosphere. It was truly a great trip. Thanks for my making my last tour so much fun and something I'll never forget! :)

Ok, my outfit. I've had this cute blue and white striped top for a while now. If you like it, it's currently on sale for half off! (It's linked). I paired it with a pair of crisp white shorts and these cute nude chunky heel sandals. Since the heel isn't that tall they were comfortable for walking around in and didn't hurt my feet. All items of my outfit are linked.

Have a great Monday!!
