HAPPY MONDAY!
I had a jam packed weekend full of working, getting some school work done and getting ready for Easter! Speaking of Easter, I hope you had a great one! I spent the morning at church singing in the choir. Afterwards attempting to get cute pictures of my brothers and nieces but that was a feat in itself. No one wanted to sit still and everyone was worried about playing and finding Easter eggs. Better luck next year right?...lol.
Back to Saturday...
Saturday after work I headed to Elite Pour La Vie where they were holding a trunk show for the designer Berta Couture; this was a preview of their 2017 Bridal Collection that was exclusively held at EPLV. I was so excited to have been invited and given the chance to get a look at what was to come. You guys, it was BEAUTIFUL!! I had never seen so many unique pieces that pushed the boundary of traditional bridal gowns but was still so elegant. The Berta Couture dress I tried on was breath taking. It had beautiful sleeves with a sheer bodice and open back. The flowers that were all over the skirt were gorgeous. Definitely a dress I'll never forget! The owner of Elite Pour La Vie was so sweet and welcoming. I loved her relaxed attitude; it made it feel like you were just chatting with a friend you've known for a long time. Her receptionist Sara was such a big help. I was itching to try on one of Berta's designs and she helped me get into a gown and even snapped a few pics for me as well. Not to mention she was super sweet and gorgeous. She's also a model, so working in a bridal store she constantly gets to play dress up! Who wouldn't love that!
