Long time no talk! As you noticed I took a few days to relax and have a sort of re-charge. My birthday was last Thursday and the next morning I made the drive to see my best-friend in North Carolina. I took Theo along for the ride...(this was his first road trip)...and spent the weekend just having down time as well as girl time. I always say it's totally ok to take a step back and give yourself time to let your mind relax and take a load off. This trip was just what I needed and it couldn't have come at a better time. I have yet to finish unpacking but I will get to that eventually. I have some more fun posts about some of the things we did while I was there but today I wanna talk about this outfit! I'm not normally one to wear a lot of black and white but I have been loving that combination. It's so classic but so versatile plus it really requires zero effort. I found this skirt through Lauren Elyce on Instagram as well as her blog. This skirt is permanently marked down to under $20 so if you've been eying it, grab it! It fits like a glove and even cuter in person. This top I shared in a post here; it fits so nice and comes in two other colors. I have my eye on the maroon! The star of this outfit to me are the shoes. These have been my slide on and go shoes. I've worn them with jeans, a dress and even leggings. They just make any outfit look more put together. The bag is so fun and adds to the girly feel of the outfit. Stay tuned for all my other fun post coming soon!
