I hope everyone had a great weekend and a happy Cinco de Mayo. I definitely was trying to make my way out and enjoy some queso and margs but everywhere was PACKED!! Lol when you live in a "small" town like I do every Mexican style restaurant gets packed out more than normal. So I opted into ordering some queso and salso for pick up and enjoyed it with Theo while watching re-runs of Law and Order SVU. Not too bad for a Saturday night....(I know, I'm a grandma! LOL)
Today I wanted to share this all white outfit. I know, I know....an all white outfit can be very intimidating especially if you're going out and eating...(hello red salsa stains) but it can also look crisp and classic. This white top has been sitting in my closet for months and it's just now consistently warm enough to break it out! I purchased the same top in red and white stripes the middle of last year, you can see that here, so when I saw the all white version I had to get it!!
Funny story, if you've been following me for a while you know I use to work at Express clothing store. This top was super popular so it sold out so fast! One day a customer needed to return this top because it was too small for her.....this is where it all turns around in my favor. I was doing her return and saw it was my size and it was on sale!! I quickly put that shirt on hold during my shift and bought it when I got off! It was fate!! lol
This top is so flattering and I love the neckline. It shows just enough without baring too much skin. The wrap detail is so popular right now and super flattering on all different body types. White jeans are a great closet staple during the Spring and Summer. It's brightens up every outfit allows for a lot of versatility. I love these from Express. They're super stretchy and don't get loose from wear throughout the day. I decided to add a pop of color with these fun red earrings from H&M. My exact pair is sold out but I linked some that are identical from another one of my favorite online shops Boohoo. My shoes.....I'm obsessed with them! I bought these a few months back when it was cold outside and I could not wait to break these out! I love anything palm print so these were no exception. I love the chunky heel and the strappy detail. My purse is so fun for Spring. It's just big enough to fit all your necessities. The studded detail is so cute and the cognac color pairs with the gold hardware.
