Happy Monday!!
First off I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone for all the love on Friday's blog post! I'm still in shock that the blog is a year old but I'm so blessed and thankful. I've been able to share some things I love and my tips and tricks and I can't wait to continue doing that. There's also a giveaway in that post so be sure to enter!! Also this past Friday was my last day working at Express!! Although I am SUPER excited about the next chapter I'm starting it is a little bittersweet. I spent 2.5 years in that location and am thankful for the experience and friendships I've made along the way.
Ok, so I'm not a huge fan of the cold...actually I don't like it at all! I am a Spring and Summer girl all the way. So when the temperatures drop I'm instantly in a state of finding all the warm clothes I can get my hands on. Sherpa has been my favorite the past two years and counting. I love the faux fur/teddy bear look and it keeps you so warm. This year I found this cardigan actually on Express' website and knew I had to have it. It was in all the marketing campaigns but hadn't made it online. I randomly checked the website and immediately put in an order for the creme color. Once it came in and I saw how soft it was, I ordered the grey. They sold out so fast so I'll be linking some other options. I paired the cardigan with some of my favorite tanks. These satin camis look great on all body types and come in a bunch of different colors. I currently own two but will be adding more to my closet. I threw on my favorite dark denim and finished the look with my favorite nude pumps from ShoeDazzle. I had been on the hunt for the perfect pair of nude pumps and found these. I'm a VIP member of ShoeDazzle so when they had their 50% off sitewide Black Friday sale I got 60% off the website. They were a great staple to add to my collection and I saved a bunch of money in the process. My purse is also from Express. This bag is genuine suede and such amazing quality, I ordered it in the black color this week! It's currently 30% off and there's not many left!
