Happy 🐪 day lovelies! My day started off with me sleeping in after a long night doing a floorset at work. Morning snuggles with my pup, making breakfast and sitting here with a cup of coffee writing this post for you guys.
It's crazy to think that graduation was almost two weeks ago. They aren't kidding when they say it goes by in the blink of an eye. You try to be present in moment and soak in all the memories in love. On graduation you wanna look your best. Yea, we're wearing our schools cap and gown but what you wear underneath is all up to you. Traditionally you usually see girls wearing dresses, preferably white. I really wanted to steer away from dresses. I wanted to be really comfortable and not having to worry about my dress flying up or any other mishaps. lol
My initial thought was to shoot for a romper. I had found a bunch of really cute ones, which I did a post all about called "Graduation Outfits" but I really did procrastinate on buying an outfit. I had my shoes picked out for a couple months, those really cute pom-pom heels I posted about from Express (They're on sale with additional 20% off!), and knew I wanted to plan around those. I wound up throwing my outfit together the morning of and I loved it!
I had purchased these super cute black and white shorts from H&M. They wound up coming in a day early so it allowed me to wear them. I paired them with a black high neck crop top that I tucked in. This combination allowed my shoes to be the focal point and I got so many compliments on them! One of the teachers does a shoe watch and I was high on the list for best graduation shoes! Lol. My look was simple but allowed me to be comfortable especially with the 🌞 (over 85°!)
