My Bedroom Inspiration

Hey guys!

There's been a lot going on in the world and I wasn't quite sure when I would write a new post over here. I'm so thankful for all of the sweet messages and DMs I received over on my Instagram, they really made my week and I'm glad all of you are educating yourself and having those hard conversations with your friends family.

I'm back to bring you guys my Apartment Bedroom Inspiration board. If you didn't check out the blog post where I shared I was moving and a glimpse at the empty space you can read about that here first! Now many of you have actually seen the main part of my bedroom which is the bed but I still wanted to share my overall vision for this space. I was starting completely from scratch with this one and knew I wanted it to look different from anything else I've ever had before. Starting with the bed, that was the main focus of the room and I knew I wanted to do more neutral tones so I could add color with decor. I picked out this Gray bed from Joss and Main: I loved the color and the nailhead trim, perfect piece to kick off the rest of my ideas. This one is a queen size and currently out of stock but is set to restock in September, so you can sign up to be notified when it comes back in stock.

I wanted to pick pieces that were more neutral so that it would allow me to be able to add pops of color with throw pillows and decor. I chose these wood nightstands to go on both sides of the bed and I love the contrast. I wasn't sure initially how I would like these together but I wound up LOVING how it looked! These are currently out of stock but these are very similar in style and around the same price point. I added  this cream colored bedding to finish off the bed and these two gold bubble lamps from Bealls Outlet. I randomly went in there one day while on my lunch break and stumbled upon these two lamps and snagged them both for only $30; honestly one of the best purchases I made for this space.

The rug pictured I got for an amazing deal on Amazon; I got this for $100 but this color and size is sold out. This print does come in different sizes, several colors and is super affordable. I wound up putting this in our living room because I thought it fight that space better and am on the hunt for something different for my bedroom. I kept my old vanity for the time being and upgraded my chair. It came with a stool but I wanted something that would be more comfortable to sit in while I got ready. I shared this round chair with you guys a couple of weeks ago and I'm still loving it. This comes in multiple colors and totally worth the cost. It's super easy to put together and would look great in a living room as an accent chair. The last big purchase I needed to make was a dresser: I originally wanted this white Ikea dresser but with the virus, IKEA was closed and when it finally opened it was out out stock. I didn't want to wait on this to restock as I needed a dresser: trying to find underclothes and workout clothes from boxes is rough, lol. I chose this dresser and have a really cool idea of how I'm going to change the look of to make it more my style.

That covers the overall idea of what my room will look like. It is no where near done but I thought I would share this with you guys. I made this vision board two months ago and am loving how it looks so far. I will be keeping you all up to date on what my room and our apartment is looking like. If you have any ideas of things you think would look good in this space, definitely let me know or send me a DM on Instagram!
