This past weekend has been crazy with all the snow in Georgia. I will admit that when they said it would snow on the news, I shrugged my shoulders and brushed it off like in the past when it didn't actually snow. You can imagine my surprise when I woke up Friday morning to my backyard covered in snow and it was still coming down. By Saturday morning we had 10 inches and I was excited. My neighborhood is full of families with kids so you saw kids running around everywhere, snowmen being built and lots of snow angels. I took my younger siblings and some neighbors to go sledding down some hills in our neighborhood, that was so much fun. I did wipe out and wound up covered in snow but that's all a part of the experience...right?! Lol. So glad that we kept our power thru all the crazy weather and pray for everyone that still is without it while the workers are putting in lots of time to get this issue fixed.

Since we don't normally get snow I had to layer up a bunch of my favorite pieces in my closet currently. I really put this jacket to the test to find out if it truly would keep me warm in the coldest weather we've had so far; it did! It shocked me how warm I actually was all while staying stylish. Underneath it I threw on this grey oversized sweater and topped with the ever so popular blanket scarf. I'm not a super huge jean person and prefer leggings when it's cold, so I chose these black leggings along with these blue knit socks and a pair of duck boots. My shoes are from a year or two ago, but I you kind find these pretty much anywhere. I wanted to keep my ears warm and this knit head wrap did just that. This is also old but I linked several ones that I'm loving right now.
